Our Story
Langmitra was born from a frustrating reality: skilled Indians are losing opportunities abroad — not because they lack talent, but because they can't clear language tests. When Maharashtra's Germany workforce program saw zero deployments despite 32,000+ registrations, we knew something had to change.
At the same time, over 32 million Indians living abroad struggle to pass down their mother tongue to the next generation. Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi — languages rich in history, yet ignored by global learning platforms.
In 2025, we decided to build what the world wouldn't. Langmitra — meaning "Language Friend" in Sanskrit — combines AI conversation practice with real pronunciation coaching, designed for both career advancement and heritage preservation.
